A first time release soundtrack to 'A Song is Born' including some of the best full-length 1947 Goldwyn Studios pre-recorded acetates, cuts from Capitol's Giants Of Jazz CC-106 album, alternate versions of songs from the film and an additional, spirited bonus performance of A Song is Born from a 1949 Armed Forces Radio Service Jubilee show by one of the film's musical stars, Louis Armstrong.
