At age 57, Roy is regarded across Louisiana as THE elder statesman of blues based Zydeco. He began playing house parties with his father inSouthwest Louisiana when he was only six years old and is now the patriarch of an extended family of Zydeco musicians that includes his two sons, Chubby and Troy (a.k.a. Dikki Du).
