Four masterful instrumentalists�Grammy-anointed bajo sexto player Max Baca, accordionist and Tropa F alumnus David Far�as, conjunto tejano veteran bassist �scar Garc�a, and multi-instrumentalist Lorenzo Mart�nez on drums�breathe new life into the century-old music of the Texas Rio Grande Valley. Their mentor and friend, Tejano accordion great Flaco Jiménez, makes a special appearance. This recording received a 2009 GRAMMY Award for Best Tejano Album.
