Streetwize - Work It

Although featuring numerous guests, Streetwize is effectively a project for soprano sax player/multi-instrumentalist/producer Kim Waters to reinterpret hits of the day into classy smooth jazz workouts. The first Streetwize album, in 2002, was cunningly titled SMOOTH URBAN JAZZ and was a great success. WORK IT! picks up where its predecessor left off, with smooth urban versions of hits by artists like Missy Elliot (Work It), Jennifer Lopez (Jenny From The Block), LL Cool J (Luv U Better), Nelly & Kelly Rowland (Dilemma), Cameron (Hey Ma) and others. Guests include Nestor Torres (flute), Randy Brecker (flugelhorn), Dave Mann (tenor sax), Chuck Loeb (guitar) and Maysa (backing vocals).
