Pamela Williams - The Perfect Love

Sax player Pamela Williams first came to notice in her native Philadelphia in the band of soul diva Patti Labelle. She subsequently relocated to California, toured with such artists as Prince and Babyface, and recorded a couple of well received solo albums before this, her Shanachie debut. On the album she collaborates with hit-making producers Kim Waters and David Mann to create 10 urban-flavoured smooth jazz cuts, including the house-flavoured Raise The Roof, the free-spirited Sunny Day and the sensual Love Bumps. In addition there is a great version of Prince's Sexy M.F. and Pamela has co-written the funky Saxodelic with Kevin Toney.
