John Cohen - That High Lonesome Sound

For years John Cohen has devoted much of his energy and talent to the cause of traditional music, first as a member of New Lost City Ramblers and as a documentary film maker. This DVD contains three films by Cohen, The High Lonesome Sound is the story of Roscoe Holcomb the singer guitarist, The End of an Old Story is a portrait of Dillard Chandler the Appalachian ballad singer and Sara and Maybelll reunites two original members of the Carter Family to perform some classic songs.
