Don Rigsby - The Midnight Call

As a native of East Kentucky Don Rigsby grew up immersed in bluegrass and traditional music. He shared that interest early in life with his cousin, bluegrass great Ricky Skaggs, and the legendary Keith Whitley. Don began his professional music career in college, and is now recognised as one of the best singers in bluegrass. He's held high-profile stints in the Bluegrass Cardinals, J.D. Crowe's New South, the Lonesome River Band, the Seldom Scene, Longview and Rock County. This is his third solo outing. The self-produced album features Don's signature vocals and mandolin playing as well as performances by some of country and bluegrass music's top-rated pickers, including Jeff White, Stuart Duncan, Vassar Clements and Randy Kohrs.
