Discovered by Stix Hooper of The Crusaders, Eugene (Oregon) guitarist and composer Zac Wolf is described as an old-school guitarist and composer for a new age! Inspired by classic melodies of the 60s and 70s, his music blends jazz, Latin, and pop styles into an infectious brew that is as original as it is evocative.
'Hello' is guitarist Zac Wolfe's debut album and stylistically close to that of Steely Dan, Earl Klugh, George Benson, Larry Carlton and The Crusaders. Featuring mostly his own compositions, there are also two contributions from his mentor Stix Hooper and one from Luiz Bonfa & Antonio Maria. Stix Hooper produced the album and plays drums throughout.
Personnel: Zac Wolfe (guitar), Cassio Viann (piano & keyboards), Stix Hooper (drums & percussion), Tim Gilson, Chris Symer (bass), Michael Slivka, Valter Da Silva (percussion)
