Recorded live in 2007 at the Solvang Jazz Festival, Solvang, California, USA, this recording includes one of the last performances from iconic, legendary musician, Freddie Hubbard. The recording and documentation is an important historical moment in music history.

In the sleeve notes, Robin Lloyd, Jazz Host at KPLU 88.5, Seattle, Washington, USA, reflects on the performance and says thanks to Stix Hooper for capturing this momentous Solvang recording to add to our remembrance of Freddie Hubbard.
