The Destroyers - Licence To Sing

License to Sing is the latest in a series of releases by megafolk maestros, The Destroyers. Returning in summer 2016 with a dynamic four-track EP, the festival stalwarts - minimum pretence and maximum style (Songlines) - present a compelling combination of instrumentals and songs, capturing the fabulous vitality of their music, as they move deftly from exploring new frontiers in Balkan patterns to adding that much-loved Destroyers stamp to traditional Celtic folk tunes.

Licence To Sing comes as the band begins another busy season of festivals, from Glastonbury and Boomtown, alongside packed-out shows in their home town of Birmingham. Their highly anticipated third album will be landing in Spring 2017... watch this space!
