British Blues pioneer Long John Baldry (1941 - 2005) recorded for Stony Plain from 1991 up until his death and this CD covers the best of that period.He had started performing acoustic blues in London in the late '50s and worked with fellow blues pioneers Alexis Korner and Cyril Davies in the early '60s. Baldry was an inspiration to The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton, and mentored Rod Stewart and Elton John.It was an honor to release his new albums, reissues and to work with him on many additional projects and tours.
