A lively collection of Christmas and New Year folk songs from early music through Elizabethan to more modern sources. Crickmore: Crewe sing in four part harmony and accompany themselves on stringed instruments, harmonium, concertina, whistles and percussion.The four piece line up of Emma and David Crickmore and Virginia and Peter Crewe are well known in the Northern Folk scene and have been coming together to perform their Christmas Show for the last three years. Between them they have enjoyed a string of high profile appearances on such as BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6 Music, Channel 4 and BBC TV.
