Selk - Beast

Selk is the duo of Anna Jordan and Dennis Cassidy. Anna Jordan has a string of credits to her name independently with her previous EP DUST, described as a beguiling and entrancing listen and has written score for Neil Jordan's 'Breakfast on Pluto', Carmel Winters films 'Snap' with Keith Lindsay and short film 'Limbo'. She also performed vocals for the soundtrack of Italian film 'House of Shadows'.Selk is a two piece group formed in 2012 with the intention of creating a stripped back vocal and drum ensemble. Selk bring together a mixture of vocal loops, electronic samples and percussion to create engaging musical arrangements and poetic narratives. They were one of the State magazine faces of 2014 and Anna was featured on the Improvised Music Companies top 12 playlist of Irish female composers 2014'.
