London noise pop electronica duo SEVERIN will be releasing their debut EP Everything Breaks on Tip Top Recordings March 19 2012. Danny Sanchez (beats / guitar / electronics) and Elizabeth Anne Martin (bass / synths / vocals) have recorded the EP with producer Rory Attwell (Test Icicles / Teeth / Yuck / Kasms / Warm Brains).Following a wave of blog hype and John Kennedy making the bands demo track 'Factory Fodder' his XFM X-posure hot-one SEVERIN's four-track debut is a blast of urgent, addictive noise on the opening upcoming singles High Shot and Macabea before mesmerising late-night vocals, synths and electronics take over on Light//Water and 0806. This fantastically noisy duo pull off a pop take on swirling, glitchy guitar loops and grinding tribal, hip hop beats to create an unconscious swaying groove for Martin's haunting vocals to cut through.
