Wes Finch - Awena

There are some pretty dark themes running through my album, loss, tragedy, depression and death, but not to worry'' says Wes Finch with a laugh, I am feeling pretty good myself!. That is the story behind 'Awena', Wes Finch's first studio album, recorded with Lisa Knapp, Sam Lee and Tidow & O'Hooley producer Gerry Diver. The album of nine ooriginal tracks and one harrowingly discordant version of Elvis Presley's 'Love Me Tender' is an ode to the stories of old England and a poetic narrative which contextualises our shared human experiences. Released June 8th.
