Vein - Vein Plays Porgy & Bess

This 2010 recording by the Swiss piano trio VEIN celebrates the music of Gershwin's 'Porgy and Bess'. Amongst the fourteen tracks are instantly recognisable versions of Summertime, Bess, You is My Woman and 'It Ain't Necessarily So but also songs that are rarely performed in a jazz context.

VEIN has gained a worldwide reputation following performances in countless clubs and festivals throughout Europe as well as cities as far apart as Moscow, La Paz, Chennai and Havana. Leading US jazz musicians have often guested with them including Dave Liebman, Glenn Ferris and Greg Osby, to name but a few.
